Per esorcizzare le lunghe notti vicine al solstizio d'inverno ecco il rumore dei barattoli, il gallo che chiama il giorno per lasciarsi alle spalle la notte lunga e buia, lo spargere olio per la casa allo scopo di schermare l'ab itazione dalle external influences.
